Najee Harris, Mac Jones good to go for Patriots at Steelers – The Athletic

Steelers running back Najee Harris had no injury designation listed on Friday’s injury report meaning the second-year star is likely good to go against the Patriots this Sunday.

Harris sustained a foot injury in the final two minutes of regulation in last Sunday’s overtime win against the Bengals. He went to the locker room just before the start of overtime after he compiled 23 rushing yards on 10 carries.

He was limited in practice Wednesday but was a full participant in Thursday and Friday’s sessions.

The Patriots were facing concerns about the availability of one of their own key starters in quarterback Mac Jones who had x-rays Sunday after suffering a back injury in his team’s Week 1 loss to the Dolphins.

Jones was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice but missed Thursday due to an illness which put his status further in question. However, the college teammate of Harris was a full participant in Friday’s practice and was also not given an injury designation meaning he is also likely to start Sunday.
